A joint voluntary venture between contractor Mace, St Edwards School, and Jonathan Durndell MRICS. Jonathan provided design and project management services on behalf of Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. The reflective garden provides a quiet space for families, with scented plants, running water, and seating areas.

Roof survey undertaken on all roofs and report detailing recommend repairs and maintenance, for Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.

Following a full building survey, internal and external repairs, maintenance, and decorations were designed, specified, and managed on-site to this Grade II* building (originally built in 1720s). RIBA Stages 2-6.

Damp ingress survey to determine causes of water ingress. Defect diagnosis. Report and schedule of works. Horton General Hospital, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust.

A water ingress survey was undertaken to determine the causes and remedial repairs to make the building watertight. NHS Property Services.

All roofs and voids were surveyed at Marlborough House (Milton Keynes) inpatient psychiatric ward for levels of insulation, fire stopping, and water ingress. Working within high security live environment.

The roof survey highlighted several defects including failed patch repairs to this asphalt roof. A full report was undertaken and recommendations for refurbishment/repairs, including potential thermal improvements.

Our damp survey determined that the black mould growth to this ceiling was caused by lack of ventilation and lack of insulation to the roof, causing a large cold spot. A schedule of works was produced to refurbish the existing flat roof, with insulation over the deck (warm roof construction) and the installation of mechanical and natural ventilation to remove moist air from the building. The plasterboard ceilings were removed and new installed.

Our roof survey highlighted issues with the valley gutter, which was full of vegetation, causing internal water ingress. Problems with access made it hard to maintain. A report with recommendations was issued to NHS Property Services.

Full design and project management for the internal refurbishment of the Wing Unit, Aylesbury. A full refurbishment was carried out including new ceilings, plastering and decorations, new floors, replacement fire alarm, and electrical services, new WCs and kitchen. RIBA Stages 2-6.
